I'm really bad at before pictures.
I'm always so excited to start a project that I completely forget.
So this is how the story goes....
Haley needed an nightstand for her new apartment at school.
I had a dark wood table I had purchased off of Craigslist for $5.
I had painted it my favorite shade of white.
It just sat and sat and sat and sat and sat and sat.....well you get my point.....in the garage waiting for a home.
See that's what happens....I do projects and I never know what to do with the final product.
She said we needed to buy a nightstand.
THEN....dun, dun, dun, dun....I remembered that I had the white table.
I agreed to get a little creative.
I remember her loving my desk...seriously, who wouldn't...
So I did my version of it...
TA-DA!!!!
Here is the final product.
Now this was my first time working with Mod Podge.
I've had it forever...just never used it.
I just used it to get the 1893 music sheets to stick to the table.
Of course then did the top with it.
Put 2 coats of poly on it and POOF....it was done.
Sure hope she likes it.
PS...the apothecary jar filled with vintage spools is for sale on my Etsy sight~

You go, girl! The table looks fantastic, Amy! That's right, if she doesn't like it, I'm getting in line for it.
