Gasp, Ugh, Yikes

I got the new Anthrologie catalog the other day.

Now, let me give you a bit of history here....
I always go into Anthro with the intention of buying clothes.
However, I never buy anything.
Why you ask....because I just think it's not worth the money.
I mean $128 for a skirt.
$98 for a shirt....OUCH!!
I'm not a good clothes shopper....
I do much better buying stuff for the house~

I do have a few pieces from there but not many.
I just can't seem to bring myself to buy anything.

However what I ALWAYS walk out with are kitchen items.
Such as tea towels, aprons, measuring spoons and.....

It's actually a bit of an addiction for me.

These are what's left of my latte bowls.
I just love the vibrant colors.
I find them cheerful.
They can even make freezer burned ice-cream taste yummy.
Wait....did I just let you know that my ice-cream has freezer burn.

However, they changed them....

These are the new colors.
They are just too dark for my liking.

I know, I know......lot's of you probably like them.

Is it inappropriate for me to throw a temper tantrum?
How about a fit?
OK, OK...I will just yell from my roof top.

Looks like everyone in my family better be extra careful while using these beauties.
Otherwise, Maisy may just have to throw a temper tantrum.

For some reason these just give me comfort.
Weird huh??

Uh, yeah, the new ones are u-g-l-y and I'm suprised they picked those colors. phewy!:( I loved the anthro towels you have in your kitchen when I visited. I agree on the whole $90 for a shirt thing. I got a shirt from anthro in my consignment store for lots cheaper! I will just wait and get them there!:)

Eww, I don't like the color either! I am an envious Anthro shopper, I am too scared to browse the website for very long that I might lose reason and believe that their "sale" is good. Their shoes are so cute but $169? Who do I look like Jessica Simpson? I shop at Goodwill! LOL

Fun blog. I am a new blogger. Lot of fun. I love those bright colors of those bowls. It is interesting how color themes change just to temp us comsumers to buy more expensive stuff. I love garage sales, thrifts and other found treasure places. Have a nice day. Dogwoos

I have these too! Myhusband just broke one the other day, a yellow one. Of the new colors I really like the plum...that could work. I don't buy much at anthro either due to cost. How are you? Long time no talk :)

i don't like those colors either! I have the bright/turq bowls and LOVE THEM! I only bought 2 of them and now I am regretting that! I make sure that I hide them so that I can use them any time I want. :)

I agree they are too dark. But maybe they will bring back the lighter ones next spring? We can always hope! And yeah you can throw a fit any time you feel it necessary!
Hugs, Lisa

I don't like the darker colors either, but I do still love their clothes, even if they are over priced! I wanted to come by and thank you for your kind words the other day on my blog. We're trying to begin our healing process right now, and I do really appreciate you leaving me a sweet comment...thank you!
