~My Dream~

I know there are lots of you who would love to live on the water.
I am not that girl.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy boats, wave runners & tubing.
I just want others to own them..not me!

I love old, rustic, creaky, history, cozy and did I say old already.

I was looking around on Flickr today and came across some AMAZING photos.

The problem is I forgot to figure out who took these pics.
So, if any of these are your photos, know I love you!!

This one seems ooooold. However, still lived in.
That's the problem here in America...we just tear down the old to build the new.
We need a "I Want Old" movement.
I can just imagine all the wonderful memories in a home like this.

These homes were BIG.
I want to sit on that porch and watch the kids picking berries, playing with the dog or just playing a good 'ol game of tag~
Can ya smell the bread baking??

I can just imagine kids running in and out of this house. Laughter is everywhere with the occasional yelling from Ma. She only has soooo much patience.

My, oh my, I want this house.
It's just perfect.
Flowers growing on the side of the house.
*sigh*

Every farm house should have a bright kitchen.
Obvisouly, this is an updated kitchen.
Look at that fridge....it's just dreamy.
I gotta have that sink.
Ohhhhhhh Billlllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!

Shouldn't all good farm houses have chickens.
I want chickens.
Now that I'm talking about it I want one of everything.
Just imagine Charlotte's Web.
Yup, that's what I want.

Do ya think they have delivery service in the country??

*I am one post away from my 100th post.....stay tuned*

I'd like an older house maybe, but I need lots of shade trees, too and a nice garden.
congrats on your 99th and 100th to be....

Such beautiful houses. I'm torn between a urban loft, and a beautiful house like the ones you pictured, but maybe on a cliff overlooking the ocean. A little path meandering through the wild grasses down to the rocky beach. :) Or new, but with character, like the house in the movie Patriot Games.

My post was a grammatical
nightmare. That is what happens when you post and don't read over it.

Oh, and delivery out in the country would be very necessary wouldn't it.

Loving these photos! I'm the same way about the ocean! I was laughing not long ago when one of my magazines went under (cottage living maybe) and they sent Coastal Living instead. I said to my hubby, jeez, they don't know me at all...I don't even like the sand! lol
For me it's good to vacation but I could never live at the ocean. My curly hair couldn't take it.

Love the photos. It would be so wonderful to live on an old piece of property with an old house...as long as it was modern on the inside and I was able to connect to the internet!!! Enjoy your day!

I am SO with you! I LOVE old houses!!! I totally picture everything you mentioned for our next house, just a few acres, baking bread, growing a salsa garden since man shall live by tortilla chips and salsa alone!!! Then simply let the kids dig into the dirt without worrying about the landscaping and value of the house when you want to sell! You know that is one thing I don't enjoy about living in the burbs. I love the pics you posted! Wow, 100th post coming! I can't wait to read it!!! :)
