Saying Goodbye

Today's post is going to be short and sweet....and without photos.
Today is my last full day of summer break with Bradley.
I just don't know where all the time went.
I am so going to miss my little man this year.
It was one thing for "B" to be gone all day to summer camp.
I knew that it would be for only 2 weeks at a time.
1st grade has such a different feeling for me.
Maisy, is feeling very sad today.
I am going to go and spend my last day of summer break with me and "B" alone.
No one else.
No friends, no other family members.
Just me and him.
I'm going to keep it a secret what we do...it's just about me and my boy today.
Today I am only a mommy.
So today I say goodbye for a day....I am not a friend today...I am only a mommy.
Happy Monday!~

Have a lovely, special time my friend, and enjoy every minute of it. It all goes by so quickly, doesn't it...?

I know how you feel! today was my little Esther's first day of school and I feel a bit lost. Both my girls are off to school today.

Some days you need to just be "mommy". I have lots of those days. I just feel like being with him and him only. You are a special person, and I'm glad you are able to have a day for just you and your little guy!

i've been MIA lately - just doing 'summer stuff'. I know I'll be back at 'em this fall when 1st grade starts. GULP.

It's ok to be a little bit sad, but I just bet you'll be kickin your heels up in joy in no time that you have some peace and quiet and time to do what you want to do (oooo that sounds good)!
