Cloche Love

I have mad cloche love.
I can't help myself.
I have 13 cloches in my home.

I would love to use them in the garden but I'm just not much of a gardener.
You see, I used to be.
Then one day I realized....even when you pull the weeds they come right back.
Geez, are those weeds rude.
Don't they get the hint...
GO AWAY!

However, I feel the same way about making my bed.
Why make it when I'm just gonna get it all messed up that very night.
I know I sound like a teenager but it really is true.
Think about it......

See, I would want these inside my house.
Just look at how many there are.
Different shapes, sizes and color.
*sigh*

I think these are just perfect.
I can't help myself....I just do!!
Fine...I said it.

That's it....I may just have to drop one over a few weeds.
That way they will look pretty.....
RIGHT??

See....this photo looks like there are weeds growing in the cloche.
They still look pretty.
I think I'm onto something here...huh!

Oh, the anticipation these cloches must feel.
I bet spring can't get here soon enough .

I bet they have ants in there pants.
You know..the same way our kids feel when they are waiting to leave for a birthday party!

I would have never thought of this.
Genius!

I guess when push comes to shove you could do this.

So not Maisy style.
However, doesn't that look like basil?
Wow...fresh basil.
For some reason this is the first year in 10 years I didn't plant and herb garden.
I wonder why.
Huh??

What are your favorite garden things??

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!
YAY for hump day!
(get your mind out of the gutter...I didn't mean that kind of hump day)

I love cloche! These are great pictures you found! You should post pictures of where and how you have them in your house! I need the extra ideas! ;) Have a great day!

I am cloche freak too! I LOVE them, but they are hard to find in my neck of the woods, so I always have my eye out for them.

I am afraid if I put them in a garden a big tree limb would fall and break them all to bits and I would have a full fledged come apart!!

I did have one that I dearly loved on my island in the kitchen over a rabbit that I also loved! My cat Simon gets up on the island and loved the flippin cloche off the island into the floor! Broke in a million pieces.

Note to self - no more cloches on the island!

Have a great day!

I am super pissed at my garden right now...the betrayal is so "in your face" it kills me! My grass decided to kick the bucket, and my garden made me work for 3 hours puling old grass and weeds to plant new seeds...back breaking labor, I hate that kind of labor...wait what is good labor???
Anyway, love cloches that is more fun to talk about, especially whent they are no sale, and you get this Gigantic one for $16.00, yup I love that! Grass, hate that, pluk!

I just started getting into the cloche thing- but alas, mine is off the coke bottle variety! So far it's been really great with getting my seedlings going faster than normal, which is always good.

But one of my favorite things- Gloves! I know that sounds prissy, but, oh well. I do NOT enjoy worms and such, or any other dirt dwelling beast that might want to scurry across my skin!

And this last one is really embarrassing, but it's been really great for longs weekends and mini vacations. The As Seen On TV- Aqua Globes! haha, but they really work in a pinch.

Oh my gosh! I just found six of the most adorable petite cloches and had to explain what they were to my husband. (He doesn't get it!)

They're all for sale at my next barn show! They're adorable!

I share your passion!

I could never have cloches all over my yard...the kids would be throwing them at each other and stitches would be next. In theory...very nice idea.

I'm with ya, sista! I love cloches, too. I have few in the garden, I made a few chicken wire versions to ward off the bunny rabbits, but I mostly have them scattered throughout my home. Huh? I wonder why you didn't plant an herb garden. I always plant them in pots on my patio right outside the back door. My italian parsley has gone insane this year. ~ Robyn

Hey girl, happy hump day back at ya! Who doesn't love cloches? I love to garden, but I can't seem to bring myself to bring my cloches outdoors either. However, I did bring one of my bird cages outside and I love it out there.

my hubby gave me the chia herb garden - no joke. It sucks, don't bother - the herbs, planted months ago are still tiny! Miss you. I have a cloche on my coffee table with a scary doll head I found in Portland under it - freaky fab! Don't worry, there'll be post on it.

what a great collection...maybe it would kill the weeds to cover them all with cloches...just heat them to death! you may need a few more for that!

we. are. the. same. person.

I LOVE cloches - and have a collection, too - CAN NOT get enough!

I'm not sure about a cloche garden, I much more adore them on cake plates. That way, I can have a collection of 2 things at the same time! (sneaky, sneaky)

XOXO to you!!

Any more thoughts to coming to CA this summer?

Cloche envy times 10. I minused the ones I lovongly have.
My favs in the garden were always my fruits & veggies, not to mention my herbs but now in the AZ desert its succulents & basil..that grows well here. In autumn I can do more herbs & veggies in pots. I miss my black Midwestern soil & weather.
