~Sunday~

As most of you know I flew to Spokane, Washington this past weekend to have a girls weekend and to go to the Farm Chicks Show.

One of the things that I really found out was that I need to be more REAL on my blog.

I have had such a hard time lately coming up with things to put on this little blog.
It's all because I need to be "Maisy."
I want you all to know the silly, fun, funny, gorgeous, off the charts smart, in really AWESOME shape and did I say perfect person that I am.

So here is my first HONEST MAISY post.

This is how I woke up Sunday Morning.....

HUNGOVER!!!!
Feeling like complete crap.

I had just a bit too much of the white wine.
I popped a couple Tylenol PM when I got back to the room. I hadn't slept very well the night before. I thought this was a good idea.
Keep in mind that I was just a wee bit tipsy.
Please don't make decisions like this.
Learn, learn, learn from my mistakes.

All day Sunday I had to have these cute little white pills.

I had tons and tons of this.
It just kept sloshing around in my tummy.
Yet, being the champ that I was, I knew that this must be done.

This is what my insides felt like.
It felt like i had Jello running through my veins.
Everything was wiggly and jiggly.
Not the fun cute wiggly, jiggly.
It was more like the "I feel like complete S**T" wiggly, jiggly.

The sad part is that I am just two months shy of my 40th birthday and I still do this to myself.
There you have it....my complete self acceptance part of me.....I'm not a fast learner.

So, now you know....I'm just gonna continue to keep it real.

PS. I had to travel all day to get home(and I mean ALLLLLL day.) I didn't walk in the door until almost 11:30 PM.
Then, yes that's right, there is a then, a huge storm blew through at about 4:00 AM and I have been up since.
Is it OK to be just a tinsy, winsy bitchy today??

Love that you're bein' real! Such a funny post (even though it's not funny that you felt that bad) - you looked good (it's better to look good than to feel good...). So great to meet you and hang out this weekend!!

LOVE THIS...keep goin' with it AMY, the real you is AMAZING, every single part of it! I had so much fun with you this weekend,I wanted to package you up and take you home with me to CA...that would have been weird but then you could live in the empty house next door and we could have one of those metal can telephones that run from one house to the next and talk all night! ok, perhaps i watch too many girly movies, but how fun would that be! get some rest and don't worry we all drink too much here and there...I however DO NOT! Just keepin' it real...and totally lying right now..ok, I am done that was a long comment, I might not have left any room for others to post now. Sorry.

XO

P.S. did you get a bobbin yet? :) I am almost done with that one...almost!

You are so funny! I read a quote once that said: "Be yourself, everyone else is taken." It's so true. I find myself trying to live this perfect, cookie-cutter life, but the truth is, I just want to live MY life. I appreciate you being so real!

Tell me more about the Farm Chicks show. I'm so jealous, I wish I lived closer so I could go sometime!

I not only laughed at your post but all the comments afterwards:-) Good thing I drove home...didn't run over the man in the electric wheelchair (that guy would not be here if you had been driving). It was so much fun and we all laughed until our faces hurt..I wish we all lived closer.

You are so funny! My body just doesn't respond to alcohol consumption the way it used to. Whenever I have a wee to much to drink, I chug like a gallon of water before bedtime, and that seems to make it a bit better.

Hope you're feeling okay today :)

And yes, Vivi is a great dane, good guess!

Glad to hear you guys had an amzing time (I knew you would though)! Traveling always makes me a little crabby. And, I think as we get older we just can't drink like we used too, but some how we try anyways and wind up with big, fat hangovers. Bet it was worth it though:) Happy Monday!

Did our little party do that to you? No sympathy here...I don't know what possessed me to start doing shots of Jack Daniels with a beer chaser. I am old enough to know better! :o) Loved meeting you!!!

I think I adore you Amy! This made me laugh out loud. I would have been right there with you if I hadn't had the lovely food poisoning on the way up to Spokane. Then your kitchen cupboard post also was laugh out loud good. Damn girl, I'm subscribing immediately. Meanwhile I'd rather read everyone elses blog, sign up for a third blog and not do even one entry! I'm in over my head, but its kinda wonderful.
