~Red~

I have always been drawn to the color red.
My family room couch is red.
I love red cherries.
I think red lipstick is smashing.
I love the color of red apples. However, I don't like apples.
I love the color of red with the color aqua blue.

Any-hoo...there is a story here...

I went downstairs tonight to watch House.
Yes, aside from Lost it is my favorite show.
I was not in the mood to watch Lost.
I'm not sure about you but I have to be focused.
If you blink you could miss the entire highlight of the show.
Wow...I just did it again. I completely got off what I was getting at.
See, I'm not focused enough to watch Lost.

And....I'm back......
I came into my bedroom and this is what I saw.
RED SOCKS!!!

Bradley has taken up roller blading this week.
He claims he can't do it without big socks.
He decided that he was just going to wear these to bed so he can get up first thing in the morning and roller blade.
*it's morning and he just blew past me and went staight for the blades*

Let's not forget about the watch he's wearing.
I'm assuming it's to time himself.
Not sure what for.
As soon as I find out what it's all about I will let you know.
Would hate to keep ya hanging!

Wait...back to to socks for a sec, why does he pull them up so high?
It almost looks like he tucked his pajama pants into them.
Noooooooooo???????

MY GOSH I LOVE THIS KID!!!!
If you click on this photos you will see all my neat little things I pointed out in this pic.
You will also see that only one side of the bed has pillows.
The side with the pillows would be my side.
Hey, a girl needs some serious pillow if she's going to blog from the comfort of her own cozy bed.

Happy Thursday!

ps...did I mention I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this kid??

What a sweetie! I think he is sporting those red socks just right! Your bed is just like mine most nights...full of pillows, laptop in hand and a little boy in the bed (mine prefers his Spiderman slippers, still red!)

Lost was good but I kept having to say to my hubby, "Wait, what just happened? Why did they go there? Wait, huh?!

He's adorable, sleeping in your bed like that. Reminds me of my son. They kind of work their way into your heart and hold on to it real tight, right? Love red as well. Our bedroom is red!!!

I used to do that...be dressed for something special when I was little. My kids still do it. They also want to sleep on top of their covers so they don't have to make their beds in the morning.

LOL! I so know what Jeanneoli is talking about!! My kids do that too!! And I am LOVING the red socks! Your story is so like my grandmothers about loving red but not loving apples! For as long as I can remember, for every holiday, everybody gives her red apple stuff and she doesn't like apples! I guess since we all knew she liked red we just assumed!! :P Thanks for sharing that about your little guy...I can tell he's a keeper!! :D

Roller blading is hard work -- it's good to prepare while you sleep :)
