~MaIsY's MeSs~

Boy do I know how to create a mess.
A really, really BIG mess.
The sad part is I haven't even finished.

The painter is starting my house on Monday.
**YEAH**
I don't want to spend my weekend clearing everything out so I thought I would get a jump on it.
I started today.

When I decide to start something I kick some serious butt.
For instance, I had 5 weeks to pack up my old house.
Done in 3 1/2 weeks.

When we moved into this house it only took me three weeks to unpack every last thing.
It looked like we had been here forever. Even all the stuff was hung on the walls.
I'm like the Energizer bunny. I just keep going and going and going!

This is just the beginning.

All my favorite things just piled up looking like junk.

I wonder if it makes these things feel sad.

Don't worry favorite things. You will be back in your happy homes in no time.
I promise!

I get the same feeling I did when I was packing up my old house.
I don't even put our everyday things away. I just throw everything everywhere!

Bare walls.
I'm just happy to know that this will hopefully be done and my house will be back in order in no time.

I never knew what to do with this mantle.
I see a new beginning in it's future.

Nothing left but some shoes.

Maybe they are happy to be getting some some light.
They usually just hang out in the book cases.

This canister set was finally adopted.
Now it thinks it's in foster care.

Don't worry. I carved out just a bit of space.
The Maisy Report must go on!

I think it will completed when I'm at the Farm Chicks show.
My family will think I'm getting back for them...nope....I want to see the place finished.

Stained kitchen cabinets, you are going to love your new look. Just think..you are getting your facelift waaaaaaay before me.

On a happy note.....I haven't even started clearing out my kitchen cabinets.
Guess what Maisy will be doing tomorrow.

It will all be worth it in the end! If I knew you were hiring, I would have just come spent the weekend with you and done it for FREE! I did all mine in our kitchen during our remodel. By MYSELF!! Do you hear the "woe is me" in my writing. My hubby didn't want to help me with that one. I can't wait to see the finished product Amy! Have a great weekend...... without me!

I'm doing some painting, one wall at a time. I decided instead of doing my normal marathon-nothing-else-happens-til-I'm-done that I would do it sloowwwwly. I've been working on the LV/DR/KIT (one great-room) for almost a month now. I WILL be done this week! So I applaud you for getting it done all at once! Good for you! It will be fun to see the paint color!
