~Life~

Things are growing around my yard.
Now I know that lot's of you love to show your flowers.
They are ALL BEAUTIFUL.
Things are a bit different around my yard.

For instance.....

We have 1000's of baby tadpoles in our pond.
Are there any other kind????
Not sure.
Ahhhh, summer love~

Then, Bradley just goes up and grabs this bad boy.
Oh heck, maybe it's a girl.....I have no idea.
Too be honest, I don't really care if it's a boy or girl.
I just don't want it in my house!!!

He actually asked if he could keep it.
Now, I have to say, I do think I'm a pretty cool mom.
I let all sorts of things happen. He could have most types of pets.
I love furry things......cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats.
Really anything for the most part.
There are two things that just can't come into this house.
SNAKES & birds.

Sorry Bradley.
Better luck next time!

LOL! Totally there with you! I am not letting snakes or birds in my house either! We raised a tadpole into a frog, that was a fascinating event about 18 months ago, but he croaked after a few months, he snuck out one night and died in the act, poor guy!
Enjoy watching the tads, they grow quickly!

Oh my gosh! You'd take rats before snakes? Too funny! At least snakes are sorta good looking. Rats are just terrifying!

As the mom of a ten year old with a corn snake - I have to tell you, it's not that bad! We did guppies one time too - it just didn't have a happy ending.

Yes, snakes stay outside! Far, far away. We had in our bathroom last summer---yes, inside! I had to kill it while screaming and yelling. Then I cried. And no, it wasn't poisonous, but I didn't know or care until after.
